How To Cook Cream Of Asparagus Soup

  •                (blender recipe)
  • 3/4cup  water
  • 3/4tsp salt
  • 1lb asparagus,cut in 1/4 inch
  • (0.5-cm) pieces on diagonal
  • 1cup light cream
  • 1/8tsp pepper
  • 1/4tsp dill weed(optional)
  • 2tbsp butter
PROCEDURE:
  Heat water and salt boiling. Add asparagus
  pieces, cover and about 5 minutes or until
  asparagus is tender. Put asparagus and 
  cooking water in blender, cover and blend
  until smooth. Blend in cream, pepper and
  dill weed. Return to saucepan and heat
  just to boiling point (do not boil). Stir in
  butter.
